Call for Submissions: #ComplexityThoughts Annual Collection of Influential Papers in Complex Systems - 2023 Edition
Are you exploring the intricacies of Complex Systems? Share with the community.
This year, #ComplexityThoughts is launching an exciting initiative to collate and feature the most influential papers published in 2023 across various disciplines. We're casting a wide net, encompassing fields like Physics, Chemistry, Systems Biology and Medicine, Evolutionary Biology, Neuroscience, Ecology, Social Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Climate Science, and more (including, but not limited to, all the ones covered by #ComplexityThoughts posts).
The key criteria?
The work you’ll recommend should be:
about complex systems, be it the cell, immune system, brain, social insects, artificial intelligence, socio-technical systems, climate or other interconnected/interdependent phenomena.
published in 2023, being a research article, an editorial piece or a book. It can be a pre-print (but not a blog post, for instance).
Whether you're a young student just starting your journey or a seasoned professor with years of experience, we encourage you to participate. This is an opportunity to showcase groundbreaking research that enhances our understanding of complex systems, regardless of whether it takes a theoretical, computational, or experimental approach.
